About The Stylist Witch

Hi Babes! My name is Gabriela Rosales and I am a fashion stylist, astrologer, and glamour witch and I live for fashion… and the extent of its power. Fashion has been the focal point of my entire life and, to be honest, for a long time I really wondered why my fascination was so fierce and unquenchable, and then, I discovered the magic of astrology.

Born on May 3, 1992, I am a quadruple — yes, quadruple — Taurus, and thus, my birth chart and entire existence is ruled by Venus, the planet and goddess of beauty, love, abundance, and, now in modern times, aesthetics. If you’re astrology-inclined, you’ll know that this basically confirms that I have a cosmic predisposition towards all things glamorous, luxurious, and beautiful.

Growing up, I had a lot of identities I was trying to embody and my experimentation went down in my wardrobe. As a woman of color, personal style has given me tangible power, allowing me to find and define myself by my own terms as well as grant me the flexibility of weaving through all of the identities that make up my cosmic composition.

Besides beauty, personal expression, and self-love, the other driving force in my life is morality and for a long time, I struggled with the internal battle between my innate desire to make the world a better place, and my visceral passion for fashion, since the fashion industry is one of the most toxic and wasteful industries on Earth. So, how could I possibly make the world a better place through such a toxic industry?

The Answer

My answer came in the spring of 2020, when the world was in turmoil and I was in the midst of an existential crisis and found myself wondering how I was going to move forward with purpose and love. I soon had my birth chart read for the first time (even though I’ve been passionate about astrology since 2012) and it was completely life-changing and validating in a way I hadn’t known I needed. Without going super in-depth about it, as I mentioned before, I am a quadruple Taurus. My Sun, Moon, Rising, and Venus are all Taurus. Also, my Black Moon Lilith is conjunct with the asteroid Aphrodite, making even my shadow self, Venusian. Essentially, this not only confirmed that my obsession with fashion and all things beauty is cosmically written, but it is also the divine purpose of my life.

After this profound discovery, I finally decided to set myself free and share what I have to offer the world. I used to think that in order to change the world, I had to become a lawyer or a politician or a psychologist or something like that to change things on a bigger scale, but if there’s anything that this life has taught me, it’s that real, deep change starts small, and that doesn’t make it any less significant.

To me, fashion is an extension and avenue of beauty. But beauty is not only physical. Beauty is a wavelength. It is an energy and way of life and you can live in alignment with that. As Venus governs beauty and aesthetics, she likewise governs love and the most important form of love is self-love. Honoring your beauty and your aesthetic preferences is a profound and sacred act of self-love, and with every act of self-care, our authentic selves are nurtured and become stronger, silencing criticism, fear, and self-doubt.

Through the integration of astrology, tarot, color magic, and my background in design and sewing, I will teach you how to use your wardrobe as a tool for empowerment and maximize your ability to express the most authentic version of yourself. I will guide you along the path of personal style as a spiritual practice and assist in the navigation of the self-discovery that comes with the development of intuitive personal style.

If I can even help change one person’s life by helping them redefine beauty by their standards and not those of society, then I am living my truth and making the world a better place by helping others realize not only their own beauty but the beauty of their lives as a whole. I know that my divine purpose is to guide others along the path of beauty and empower them through the self-loving ritual of adornment and it is the honor of my life to guide them in such a way.
